Okay I AM 30 WEEKS 4 DAYS AND HAVE NOTHING READY. SHOULD I HAVE BY NOW? WHAT TO GET READY?

SEEMS LIKE TIME IS FLYING BY AND I HAVE NOT STARTED THE NURERY OR A BAG READY FOR HOSP. CAR SEAT IS NOT IN THE CAR, WHAT TO DO. I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD, BUT ALL THIS SEEMS NEW TO ME ALL OVER AGAIN. I NEED TO START SOMEWHERE, HELP PLEASE. PLUS I HAVE TO TAKE IT EASY, I AM HIGH RISK (GD) AND CANT OVER DO TOO MUCH, BUT I CAN DO A LITTLE EVERYDAY. I HAVE ALL THE BEDDING FOR HER ROOM, AND CLOTHES, EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE WASHED. UGHHHHH HELP PLEASE.

I had gestational diabetes and I washed clothes, set up the room, and packed a bag with no problem.  If you feel overwhelmed do a little at a time or get some help.

okay first make a bag for the hospital of comfy clothes and relaxing things maybe a book or something that can help you relax a couple outfits for the baby and a going home outfit should be good

then maybe put the crib togetherrr and wash some clothes and blankets and just put things together one by one at your own pace

add the carseat sometime in there maybe in a week or two?

and remember to relax and take time to just be excited to be a mommy!

First off....calm down, don;t stress.

#2 baby is overwhelming cause you can tjust take the time for yourself you could when you had #1....

Next...make a list. Of everthing you want to get accomplished before the baby comes.

Prioritize that list.

Then make a realistic scehdule that is flexible.

You have about 2 months to get stuff done.

Enlist help of sisters or inlaws or other adult friends or teenagers to help with bigger projects like getting the nursery together.

You will see things start to come off of the list and feel better.

For example:

You dont need to put the car seat in the car until a week before your due. but have it in the nursery ready to go.

You will do great!!
