Okay I cannot decide Honda CRX or a Mazda MX3?

I am planning on getting a project car, but i cannot seem to decide on which... I am a big honda person as i own a 97 honda accord but i recently have looked at a mx3 and liked it. Which do you personally think would be better to make a project car?

the bigger engine is faster but the vtec wont do anything for performance but allow more rpms

torque x rpm = horsepower

bigger engine is more torque it makes

I would say crx just because Honda is better brand more available because there popular.

CR-X every time, but it must have a VTEC engine.

MX3 is to blobby. Now, an MX5 would be nice.....
