  1. The Vonage Residential Unlimited plan only includes USA/Canada + five European countries, but does not include Philippines. (at least not for free)

And, Vonage International plans do not include Philippines, either. (at least not for free)

But, you can call Philippines at the posted Vonage international rate of 18 cents/min to Philippines landlines.  Calling cell phones in Philippines will cost you 23 cents/min.

    --------------------------------

If you review the Internation plans details, you will see that Philippines is not include as a "free" calling destination.  Thus, you will be charged extra for the calls to Philippines at the posted International rates.

MagicJack rates to Philippines are Not cheaper than Vonage.  As a matter of fact they are the same.... so no advantage there. (MJ FAQ posts the rates... if you can find it)

If people in Philippines also had Vonage, you could talk free to each other, just like when two people are using MagicJack... so no benefit using MJ there either.

As a matter of fact, virtually ALL VoIP services allow Free "In-Network Calling" between account holders...

I actually get much better international rates with InPhonex and CallCentric. And, they offer free In-network calling between account holders, too. (see my profile for links)

  2. no!! dont get Voange...get the MagicJack,

Don't do it. There is a new product on the market that works just like vonage but is so much cheaper. I personal had vonyage and ended up paying $360 a year. The product I am talking about is called magicjack. It works just like vonage but you pay $40.00 for the unit and thats all you pay for 1 year after that it's $19.95. All you have to have is highspeed internet and a USB connection. The unit will set it self up in like 3-5 minutes. Check it out for youself at magicjack.com.

  3. Iou good to go right now...if you got the international plan...its free!

yes, Jeff is right!!! the Phil. is not under the inter. countries!! I thought it was, sorry...
