Okay I need a good way for this couple to meet?

I am writing a novel and it includes a boy and a girl who fall in love. The boy just moved in down the street. And I need a creative way for them to first meet.

At first I had the girls dog run away and end up at the boys house but that is lame.

any ideas?

Have the girl leaning over her car with the hood up justwigglinging amovingvin stuff.  He sees her and asks does she need help, then when he gets it started he asks for a ride.

The boy almost runs her over when he's learning how to drive.

He damages their lawn/mailbox/hedge and has to help fix it as punishment for taking the car without permission.

Kay if they go to the same school then maybe somthing like this-

Their place is the last stop. The girl(I'll pretend she's katie) gets on to the bus. The guy(I'll call him Joseph) gets on to the last available spot, which is next to Katie. They talk and since Joseph is new to the school, Katie becomes his friend.

Or maybe they are back to back without knowing it, saying goodbye to their parents while waiting for the bus. Then, Katie and Joseph bump into each other, their stuff drop, they hurry to pick it up, and their hands touch, and thats when they feel a spark. Or maybe someone grabbed the wrong textbook.

I'm sorry I usually come up with better than this.

To make it dramtic, maybe Joseph saves Katie from getting hit bye a car. Maybe they are partnered up in class.

The boy's house catches on fire.

The girl and her family help put out the fire and offer the boy's family a place to stay.

The girl's family and the boy's family become very irritated with each other because there is something really bad about the boy's family while the girl's family is made up of "good" people, and the good girl falls in love with the bad boy?

Hes unpacking the boxes from the moving truck when he first sees her and hes amazed by her, she apparently doesnt notice him until they meet each other in the local supermarket. They both end up in the same line and begin a conversation where he tells her they live near each other...

How about the boy takes a walk with his dog, and then the dog gets away from him and knocks the girl down (who was getting the mail) and she goes unconscious. He has to call 911 and goes in the ambulance with her because he feels bad.

Very dramatic! =D
