Okay. I need more help with my cosplay?

I've decided to go with the suggestion of Tsukasa from Hack//Sign. But now i need sum1 for my best friend to cosplay as, it needs to relate him sumhow ^^

Also, i need advice on how to make the staff that Tsukasa has...lol

Your friend could go as someone else from .hack//Sign like Sora, Crim, Bear, Balmung, Macha or Silver Knight. Then you guys could do a lot of neat group poses. If none of them relate to your friend, he could look into the expanded .hack universe. Some good costumes include Kite, Endrance and Sanjuro. Hopefully one of them will relate to your friend.

As for Tsukasa's staff, you may want to start with pvc pipe or a flag pole for the base. Then you can make the top (hook) out of other materials like papermache or insulation foam and resin and attach it on. Be sure that they are attached very well (super glue, epoxy, interlocking parts etc) or it might come apart during the con.

Many people use fishing line to attach the red ball to the hook so that it appears to be floating unless you're looking very closely. You may want to look around craft stores for something that would make a suitable ball. There are ones made of foam but it's hard to paint them to look shiny. Christmas ornaments can be hard to attach. Who knows though, you may run into something that is just right.
