Okay am I insane? (my question needs to be at least 20 characters long)?

Question

Recently I lost a job coz my boss thought I was high because when he came over and said "Hello"

I said, "Good Thanks."

When I realized he didn't actually care how I was, I ran away screaming.

Has anyone else ever done that??

No you-re okay just probably a little too sensitive for the world at large to deal with - try getting work in a place where everyone is committed (no pun intended) to co-operative working or to an ideal. Having a vibrant caring workplace is better than a high wage because you spend so much time there. yes I have done equivalent - it takes a while to accept the world how it is rather than how we think it should be. But you can shimmy around finding places that accept you as you are.

If you're asking if you're insane, you're probably not.  But that isn't normal.  Why did you do that?  Were you hurt?  Angry?  Scared?  Sounds like a reaction of fear.  I'm visualizing you turning around and letting out a high pitched scream, running away arms flailing.  I don't really get why that would scare you.  If you were angry, like you stormed off, was there something else besides your boss not asking "how are you" that made you think he didn't care?  Because if not, that's irrational.  So maybe you're not insane, but in bad need of some kind of therapy, or mental/spiritual healing.

personally, i don't think you are insane.  You just either were frustrated or finally figured out what the world we live in consists of.  Running away like that is a bit weird though.  I wish i could have been there to see it (No offense).
