  1. decaf coffee

  2. i agree with KRYSTL, try the Dandy Blend, it is very good.

  3. decaffinaited

  4. no...only decaf coffee...why not try that?

  5. One alternative is "herbal coffee": http://www.teeccino.com/defaultnew.aspx  Orignally, I would have recommended Postum, (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postum), but apparently Kraft Foods discontinued that product in 2007.  Another alternative is Roasted Chicory Root: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ZVVI0A/?tag...  This is used quite a bit in New Orleans to "thin out" coffee or used instead of because originally chicory was cheeper than coffee.  I hope this helps. :-)

  6. My mom owns a herbal tea shop with a coffee one thats for coffee addidtaints email me at manageratgrannypots@yahoo.com and i will send you a link asap or you can order some its only like 4.00 an ounce or something

  7. Hi,apparently dandelion roots are a good substitute and taste just like it.I haven't tried but being a coffee drinker myself i would love to know what it tastes like if u were to try it please.I suppose another good point is that they should be easy enough to get hold of a good way to get rid of weeds, drink them!

  8. And just where did you get the information that coffee is unhealthy??

It really isn't. It helps prevent lots of cancers, type 2 diabetes. promotes good broncheal health, and isn't at all fattening.

  9. You are not getting addicted to coffee. You are getting addicted to the caffeine. The only replacement if you still want something that tastes like it is decaf.

As far as health goes green tea is the best. It has 1/3 the caffeine as coffee does. But it does not smell or taste like it.

You simply are not going to find a suitable replacement if you still need that smell and taste. It is either going to have to be decaf or give it up all together for tea that smells and tastes nothing like it.

  10. The only thing that smells and tastes like coffee but isn't coffee is decaf.

Other than that you can try a tea and/or  a herbal tea and find a flavor that might attract you more than coffee. But that's probably about it. And even if you don't find anything you like try your best not to drink coffee because it is honestly very unhealthy and it isn't impossible to stop an addiction.

  11. There are small packets of coffee w/ginseng in it, you can try looking for them in Asian stores...

  12. Decaf!!!!!!!!!

  13. The only thing that tastes and smells like coffee is coffee.  Why don't you try decaf?  The only real downfall of coffee is the caffeine, and the decaf will mostly eliminate this problem.  There is still a minimal amount in it.  Even if you were to drink tea, there is a lot of caffeine in there too.

  14. decaffinated coffee

  15. organic coffee

    decaf

    or organic decaf

  16. there is a dandelion root tea called dandy tea, that tastes just like coffee, is all natural and very good.

    EDIT: heres the link

    http://www.dandyblend.com/

  17. Coffe is actually healthy for you!

A latest study, according to panelists at a scientific meeting, discussing the benefits - and risks - of the beverage, “drinking coffee” can help ward off type 2 diabetes and may even help prevent certain cancers! The study which was conducted at The Harvard School of Public Health found evidence that the beverage may protect against certain types of colon cancer, as well as rectal and liver cancer, possibly by reducing the amount of cholesterol.

“It’s not like we’re promoting coffee as the new health food and asking people who don’t like coffee to drink coffee for their health,” says Dr. Rob van Dam of Harvard School. “Just don’t look at coffee as such a negative health image.”

Of course, findings suggest that people who may be extremely vulnerable to caffeine, pregnant women, and children — should limit their coffee consumption.
