  1. DOLLAR STORE!

Have 4 or 5 guests have a budget of 25 dollars and 15 minutes to go to the nearest dollar store and purchase items to create an outfit out of.

Then when they get back to your house have them get in teams with one other person that DIDN'T go to the store.

Give them an hour to construct something. .... have it be a secret to all the other teams.

Have the remaning people be the judges of a walk off!

Maybe what they should be creating is the perfect party outfit for the birthday girl. ........then make her wear it and go out to dinner or bowling or mini golf.....hehehe

    Just an idea.

Good luck and have a fun party.

  2. build a cheap runway in the middle of the room

tell friends to bring clothes, accessories, and shoes

    have teams and judges

(a stylist for each team, models...)

    do a runway competition

eat finger food (have girls help out with it), watch a favorite episode, play games with new rules to fit the theme (like project runway pictionary or charades or whatever)

listen to super girly music and dance around in each others crazy outfits

also..i know this isn't with the theme but trading clothes is always fun too ( new wardrobe, get rid of old)

hopefully you are all the same size, have fun!

  3. get her friends to pose as models and designers like Christian or Hedi Klum or Tim Gun. Try to make room for a "runway" in the place the party is taking place. If you can get a manican and put really awsome on it. Usually, you can find some fabric from a craft store that cost a few bucks per yard and use it to decorate or for a game.

  4. Ok, here ya go:

Construct a runway, using a carpet runner and some rope lighting or Cmas tree-type lights...

Have your friends and family donate (or borrow) items of clothing.  As your guests arrive, let them pick something that they can either accessorize their own outfit with or something they can use to create a new outfit...

Cut up measuring tapes to make napkin rings...

Decorate with framed dress pattern envelopes...

Give away inexpensive sewing kits or cool pin cushions as party favors...

Use the envelopes from patterns to mail invitations...

    Good luck and have fun!

  5. Rainbows, lots of rainbows

  6. LOL. So do I. She rocks. But I don't think I would want a themed party from it.
