Okay im newer to volleyball and what sort of excercises should i do that work....kind fast

im going out for v-ball and our first practice is coming up is there any workout that i can do that works fast like asap please i nedd help im so worried.

  1. I would toss up the ball as you would for a serve, and practice having it land right in front of you. Also have someone throw a ball at about your knee level, and practice getting the ball up in the air. Work out wise, wall sits and calf raises work great.


  2. I would do some cardio especially like jumping exercises, take a measurement of your vertical jump and see if you can increase it. Pick a spot on the wall up high and reach for it by jumping as high as you can repeatedly till you are tired.

  3. you should do alot of shoulder/arm rotations and back exercises.
