Okay it was my first time taking my SAT, and i want to know is 1400 out of 2400 bad?

it seems really bad to me and i think i should retake it? im not sure?

i think since it's your first time, it's a pretty good number. most people i know got below that on their first time. don't worry take it again, and trust me like 85% of the people who take it the second time do better! just keep studying and you'll probably get like 1600 and up! which is pretty good!good luck!
