  1. They were probably busy with their business, maybe they want to talk to you privately to set up an interview for a job opening! You never know right?


  2. When did you first call them?  Right when they opened/closed?

    Maybe that is when the Manager is going to be in or maybe they were in the middle of a meeting and couldn't take the time right then and there to talk to you.
