sounds quite horrible, but my cats picked up fleas. i got them treated straightaway however there are still a few ghastly fleas hanging about the place! anyway my vet said the treatment he put on the cats should be fine for me (im now 13 weeks pregnant) but im a worrier. im concerned that if the fleas bite the cats and get this flea treatment into their bloodstream, then they go on to bite me... could this transfer into me?

sorry its such a weird question but anyone know?

thank you

  1. IF YOUR HOUSE / cat HAS FLEAS….

I have a NATURAL remedy for getting rid of fleas in your house.

Go to the Store and buy some 20 Mule Team BORAX.

Then sprinkle it all over. Carpets, couch, bedding, pillows, pet beds, car, even wood floors. (NOT ON YOUR PET!)

    THEN VACCUME IT UP.

What Boax does is coats the eggs ... The eggs hatch deformed or unable to reproduce.

You will have to do this 2 or 3x about a week apart in order to get all the egg cycles.

FOR YOUR PET. Use the flea killer that is on the market or use a flea comb (this is also a head lice comb) especially for kittens or puppys who are too young to have insecticide put on them.

Kill the fleas that you find on the comb with soap or alcohol

  2. no it cannot.

  3. First off, its okay to worry when you are pregnant. Lol. I know, because i am 6 months along. Lol. I've got fleas too, and the little buggers wont die for the life of me. Vet said that you need to treat your yard too, because they will keep coming in, after the cat has been treated. You should be okay. But stay away from the litter box!!!!
