Okay ladies... Today is my big O day and i need some answers please?

Question

I know that my ovulation calculator was on point telling me that today was my day to ovulate because when i wiped a couple of hours ago i got this thick slimy cm on my tissue and it was alot of it, now my question is do i have two more days to BD or is it more? My husband and i started on the 25th and have did it until yesterday (i plan on doing it today and tonight, lol) but do you think i have a good chance this time around? Thanks in advance!

I would do it often over the next 2 days...everyone has told me that you should do it the day before and two days after you ovulate. My "big O" day was on the 27th...so I'm hoping and waiting too! I hope things go good for you! Lots of Baby Dust to you!!

I am in a human sexuality class in college, and my professor said to have s*x everyday when TTC, but i think you have only have today and tomorrow left to concieve

That ovulation calculator may say today, but your body may say tomorrow, or the next day. As long as you see the egg white cervical mucus (the thick slimy cm), consider yourself fertile.  That's the good stuff that keeps his sperm alive while it waits for your egg.   It dries up pretty quickly after ovulation.

As for frequency, it's best to have intercourse every day up to and the day after ovulation. If there are no sperm count issues, there's nothing wrong with every day. More than once a day, though, is pretty futile, since you won't be giving his body time to replenish the s***n. Once released, your egg will live for 12-24 hours and then die if not fertilized.

Lastly, as for your chances, there is a 20-25% chance of conception each cycle for a healthy couple who have had good intercourse/ovulation timing.
