obviously asking questions here is bad mojo (I even walked around the stadiuum counterclockwise tonight).

Gotta hand it to the Cubs though. So . . . question . . . . how bad is it going to be tomorrow?

  1. today i say the game will be much closer

    but the cubs will 5-3

  2. I love here! ah

  3. I don't know if you can make promises you can't control.  I really doubt this is the last Cubs/Brewers question, LOL.  I have a lot of respect for the Brewers team and what they've done this year and I'm not counting them out of anything.  I think these are the 2 best teams in the NL.  They have the 2 best offenses and 2 of the best pitching rotations in the NL.  I'm not putting anything past Parra because he's a solid pitcher and I can't say that Dempster has been great on the road (he just won his first road game, hard to believe that a guy with 1 road victory has 11 wins, right).  If the Cubs keep hitting the way they have the last 2 games against the Brewers I think they can win because Dempster doesn't give up a lot of runs at home or on the road.  At the beginning of the series I predicted a split, but that was also assuming the Brewers would win the Sabathia game.  If I were the Brewers I would just be hoping not to get swept in this series.  We'll see what happens.

  4. Brewers will win tomorrow.

  5. The Cubs just beat Ben Sheets and ran CC Sabathia out of the game early last night (the only reason he didn't take the loss was because the Cubbies finally won it in the 9th instead)...it's only going to get worse for the Brew Crew from here

    Go Cubs! :- D

  6. ehh...Manny Parra is good so idk but the Cubs offense has showed in the last 2 days that it can handle excellent pitching...Ryan Dempster has been great this year and we will see if he can keep it up tomorrow.

    I say Cubs Win

But should be an interesting match tomorrow...we will see

  7. it is over the brew crew drowned in their suds!

  8. As a Cubs fan, I am pleasently surprised that they're up 2-0 in the series.  I thought tonights game would be much closer, and I expect a close game tomorrow.  It's nice to see them able score runs without having to hit the long ball.  Also, If I were a Brewers fan, I'd be pretty upset at those two triples hit by Chicago tonight.  Not the best defensive effort by the corner outfielders.

  9. My dad is a cubies fan and since I don't have a fav. team, I'm going for the cubies.

I think the Brewers should have pulled the pitcher out but, they didn't and after awhile watching the Brewers, I could see that their out fielders weren't even trying to catch balls. Look how many of the guys that quit running as hard to catch the ball, etc...

I think the Cubies will win another on them! Cubies have some really good hitters!

  10. Well the brewers have lost 2.   Now I want the cubs to lose 2.   So then the Cardinals will be only 2 games from cubs and 1 game from brewers.   Also I am banking on sweeping the Braves.  They suck right now.
