Okay seriously, am I the only one tired of hearing the media/people talk about "UFOs"?

Just wondering. It's obvious that the USA has top secret bases/military installations where they are continually researching, developing and testing new "secret aircraft" for military purposes. A lot of these silly sightings are seen, conveniently enough, either around these bases or in the flight paths from base to base.

I'm not trying to start an argument...I'm just trying to understand people's reasoning here. It's obvious that the military researched, tested and developed aircraft like the B2 Bomber, F-117, F-22, etc. at these various "secret bases" before bringing them out into the public. The F-22 resembles a lot of fighter planes in design, and looks like a plane. The F-117 is a little harder to distinguish, especially to people who know little about recent planes. The B2 would be a "UFO" to a lot of people who don't know about it...and there are quite a few people out there that don't even know there are "bases" developing these aircraft.

Well, if it's unidentified, it's flying, and it's an object, then it's a UFO. I don't see the big deal about that.

They are not UFO's they are simply planes that know one knows about.  The B2 like you said is a bomber and they have those at random private bases that you don't know could even be at a local airfield.  Its just secret planes by the army.

the way that the ufo's move make them unhuman

they can change direction instantly without slowing down. the usa or any other country for that matter dose not have the technolgy to do this. but i dunno, you have to pretty dumb to belive that we are the only planet in the universe with inteligent life

Incidentally, it was a U2 that was shot down.

Just wanted to mention that you may be mistaken as there were over 900 launches of missiles at the SR71 but at the time of retirement no shoot downs. Some interesting events occurred according to the record. UFO's who knows but I did see one up close at night over Lake Michigan and it was awesome.  Very fast and very maneuverable. For those of you who fly you will understand the difficulty of this but if formed up and flew beside of me for about 10 minutes. It came in head on at an extremal high closing speed maybe over 600 kts. and with no change in direction just stopped beside me (matched my speed) WOW!  It was very large and emitting a faint glow which made it very visible. Who knows?

yes yes.. and the people who say they were captured by aliens were actually taken aboard on these test flights and rather than probed by aliens as they claim to have been it was actually THE US ARMY! I like your theory but still it doesn't cover all the aspects of these reports. My personal opnion is that those who have made "sightings" or been "abducted" may well be unbalanced, but then i also believe that there is far too much space out there for us to be the only ones in it.... so who knows...
