Okay seriously. Am I out of line in pleading with all males in our nation to refrain from wearing...?

NFL/NBA/College jerseys? Seriously. why do it. You always look like a loser. You might think its cool, but honestly. And please, if you are going to wear it, don't tuck it in. I beg you.

Am I just out of line in thinking this?

Well . . . I know I'm not a guy, but I wear my football and baseball jerseys when I'm watching games.  I don't tuck them in either and I think I look fine.

But as far as being attracted to a guy in a sports jersey, it would pretty much only be if he is: a) playing a sport or b) watching a sport and wearing it in support of their team.

Oh yeah and . . . GO BEARS!!!!!!!! :)

Thanks for the input. I usually where my Jim Plunket jersey tucked with shorts. Nobody ever said anything, but i always got a feeling they were saying something.  Thank i'll keep it tucked out.

I have never seen anyone over age 12 wearing a football jersey; but, I am sure you are more observant.   Cannot imagine a high school or older fan wearing a jersey.  But, there are few freedoms left.   If they are that engrossed into a team's performance, there is not much to be said.   I do not think it is reasonable to ask that type of fan to "refrain" from what seems to make them think they are part of the team.

there is nothing wrong with showing pride for your team...on mondays after my team plays (patriots) i always wear my patriots tie to work, however I agree a jersey should never be tucked in

At a game is ok, in the mall or just out I agree with you. But please never ever tuck it in.

- This is merely your opinion.  Fortunate for the sport clothing industry, many people disagree with you.

- I do agree with you on this one, but even this is still an opinion.

As soon as restricting this type of clothing is accepted, what would stop restrictions on other clothing like Spandex or "yuppie wear".  I think we should all wear something plain like maybe Amish attire (j/k).
