and I put down the bike stand in uneven pavement and it accidently slipped and drop my bike. Now my left handle bar is now wiggling. Is there any way I can tighten it? Could I have broken my handle bar?

  1. Maybe.  I don't think I would want to trust handlebars that are so candy-assed wimpy that they couldn't handle a drop.  It is not a tall order to expect them to handle a lot mare than that. Where did you find a bike made in Taiwan?

  2. very doubtful.... just tighten the bolts down.... it might not be the actual bolts that bolt the handle bars down though, check the entire steering column to make sure it's tight...

and it sucks don't it? i've done it twice already.... one time i just completely forgot about putting the kickstand down because i was pissed off..... that sure didnt' help..... i basicly just threw my bike on the ground..... god if anyone woulda said a word to me at that momment i probably woulda beat them with my seat lol.

  3. It could be the nuts on the underside of the triple tree, as well as the handlebar mount bolts and nuts. This all depends on what your bike is to, you need to specify.

    Just check everything

  4. Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.

Sportbikes have 2 handlebars - a left & a right - one could have loosened up.

Some bikes have rubber mounded risers - could be bent and/or loose.

Some bikes have solid handlebar clamps - the handlebar's tubing could be weak and flexing.
