The Candyman is a character from an early nineties movie, yes, but he was based on a story from Clive Barker, I believe it was the Forbidden, from the In the Flesh anthology, but I won't swear to it.

Candy Man is a fictional character from a movie. It is similar to Bloody Mary, if you say his name 3 times, he will come to get you. Bees shoot out of hist mouth and engulf you. The movie is called CandyMan. (Didn't see that one coming)
