I brush her teeth daily up to 3 times a day and yet when i am carrying her and she yawns or licks my face her breath smells like straight up sh*t what else can I do to help freshen her breath.

  1. Could be his teeth or something internal that may be dead or dying.

  2. Don't brush her teeth, sometimes that causes a build-up in saliva, and makes her breath smell worse.  Give her something that smells nice to chew on, like hides from your pet store, some of them even are made special to get plaque and tartar off of the doggies' teeth.

  3. A raw bone to chew on once a week will keep your dogs teeth clean and in good order. Get a marrow bone from the butcher and get him to cut it cross ways (not long ways) Raw chicken necks a couple of times a week as a meal are good (not chicken bones)  Dry dog food is also good for teeth. If you are feeding all soft foods this will lead to bad breath and bad teeth later. Give her half a charcoal tablet also to keep her breath from smelling.

  4. get bones that say they help breath or tartar build up, but make sure it is not the bone that is green and tooth brush shaped

  5. Stores sell special bones that freshen up dogs breath and help their teeth and gums too. My aunt's Doberman Pincher is the same way.
