Okay so when do I take a preggo test?

Im not gonna ask "am i pregnant" b/c i know no one on here is God and can tell me, buttttt

I got my first depo shot May 2 of this year...it was supposed to wear off Aug 2 of this year...i didnt get it "re-done" the end of july like I was supposed to, b/c I heard alot of bad things about it...so here we are a month later after it was supposed to wear off. (Keep in mind, I didnt get my period the whole time I got the shot...and i STILL didnt get it back yet!!) So anyway my boyfriend and I live together we have our own apartment, and we always use condoms...well a few days ago (like 2) we didnt..and he pulled out, but I know some got in me. The problem is..Im not sure if the depo is still working in my system, because it was supposed to wear off a month ago but i still didnt get my period yet, so theres no way to tell if im preggo. Therefore, I cant use the "missed period" method. So how long do I have to wait to buy an over the counter test? Thanks

When you miss a period you take a test.

Or 14 days after your last unprotected sexual intercourse.

but you can go to the doctors just to be 100% sure

Wait at least 14 more days to test and you may have to even wait longer and take another about a week later just to be sure if you aren't having a period again yet.

You can test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant.

I was on the depo shot for 4 years and in that 4 years i never got my period. Once i stopped taking the shot i got pregnant 11 months later.
