Okay this is a stupid question....

i was wondering

okay you know how the speed of light is really fast

and the speed of sound is really fast too (but not as fast)

but i also know how in water the speed of sound ampilfies and speeds up

and i also know how in water the speed of light slows down

so my question

is that does the speed of sound pass the speed of light in water?

No the speed of light is much more than the speed of sound.

Speed of light = 3 * 10^8 m/s

Speed of sound = 340 m/s

So in any medium, the speed of light is reduced by a small amount and the speed of sound increases by a small amount. But still the speed of light is much more than the speed of sound.
