My first day of my last period was July 20 and nothing since then. I thought I had done everything right but i tested the other day it was negative. So now what should I do....give up hope or wait longer? Symptoms come and go so I don't know what to think. Thank you for your help!

  1. somtimes those test can be wrong you best thing to do is go to a doctor the can do the blood test one more acurate and if your not you can find out why u havent had a period but it sounds like you are prego good luck

  2. Im in the same situation! my last period was July 18th and i did 2 tests at 5 days interval and they were both negative.... Can it be that our HCG (or whatever the hormone is called) level is low?

    Wonderful question!

  3. How long are you cycles usually?

If these tests are negative and you are WAY due for your period (ie your cycles are usually not 35+ days long

one of two things are happening.

    1.  you ovulated a lot later than you usually do and are having a longer cycle than expected (this happens!  often!)

    2.  you do not have enough hcg in your system to get a positive yet.

This all depends, however, on how long your cycles usually are.  It would help if you gave us that information.

  4. I would definitely go to a doctor and get a blood test.  If your last period was 7-20, then you are WAY overdue!!  And if you are not pregnant, then something is going on with your body, and you should get checked out by a doc.  Best of luck to you!

  5. You are always likely to get a false negative rather a false positive. Try testing again and if you still dont get your period, go to the doctor. They can give you a blood test. GL

  6. Doctor! Sometimes those tests arent accurate so id suggest going to a doctor or ob/gyn (theyd prob no little more). Good luck.
