(by older i mean actually my age...i am 15 and i look like i am 12 or 13--not kidding) i have brown hair and brown eyes and fair skin. i am willing to go out and buy anything new, and i want a creative look. thanks so much! (please no websites--just think of it as makeup for dummies)

  1. Perhaps if you want to look older..Blusher, concealer, light or no eyeshadow, black Kohl if you like (remember don't use too much as it can look "harsh" on fair skin!), and mascara. Add more or less. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Don't forget wearing your hair down can make you appear older too! As it adds shadow to the face. Good luck :)

  2. Bobbie Brown has a great book for teens that would be a good help for what you are looking for.

For starters if you are wearing foundation, don't bother with it. Applying it just takes up time and your skin is probably just fine without it.

What you are looking for is a quick 5 - 10 minute routine pretty much.

Moisturize, and don't forget your sunscreen.

Two eye shadows max.. one to dark one light > shades of browns are great for this.

Using the lighter color eye shadow sweep it across your eyelid up to the crease. Take the darker eye shadow and apply it to the crease. Then blend them so there is no line that you can see.

Apply eyeliner to the base of your lashes, top only to save on time and smudge.

Curl your eyelashes because it really opens up the eye and apply

    mascara.

Sweep blush across the apple of your cheek and make sure it don't

    look like a streak.

For this look all your need are 2 eye shadows:

mascara, eyelash curler, pencil eyeliner because its the easiest to use and the quickest. Blush and that is it. Lip gloss also cause you can reapply during your busy day.

The worse thing you want to do is over do your makeup, because it won't make you look over, just someone who doesn't know how to use their makeup correctly.

    Hope this helps..

  3. Yes! I would try clinique airbrush concealor matte ivory (if u have acne or dark circles) it covers any imperfections.  Also try the avon battery powered eye lash curler it heats up and makes ur eyes pop!! and also the double matte face powder by clinique in matte ivory, and due some clinique high definition mascara.. dont go for the cheap stuff at walmart.. go to the mall YAY

  4. u should check youtube and type makeup tutorial for begginers or something thatll help you it helped me

  5. Heyya x

I also have fair skin Which is always a good thing but to add some colour use a pinky/peachy blusher

Because you eyes are brown line your upper lid with purple or black eyeliner it will really suit you!

For you lips choose a nice lip gloss in any  shade  of pink

& to top it of add black mascara & foundation if need

    Hope this helps

  6. hmm i myself have been changing what makeup i wear as well.. although i'm slightly older than you are..

i have my basics... which is this wet/dry powder foundation.. its seriously my new love.. its by this company called prestige.. (although i live in canada sooo i'm not sure you have it where ever you are??) but it is pretty cheap and i used to use like 3 different cover girl products and this replaced all of them.. i even tried mac before my friend introduced me to this.. and mac for one is ridiculously expensive and two i don't find helps at all!!

my new favourtie loves are from this makeup company called benefit sanfransico..  i have dark colored discoloration under my eyes and their products help me look more awake.. they also have a wet/dry foundation i was just looking at the other day.. i've never tried it.. but it looked good.. if you live in the states you can get their products at sephora... or in canada there are a few different shopper's drug mart boutiques that sell them.. this brand is slightly more expensive but from my experience well worth it!!

other then these i have a bit of mascara and lip gloss... if you want something more dramatic with color..  you get a tinted  gloss to make you lips more luscious looking and maybe a color on your eyelids..  ooo also i like to highlight just under my eyebrows with looks really good.. (what i use is eye bright from benefit... it makes your eyes glitter seriously its awesome!!)

ALSO .. if your goin' to school you really don't need to look dramatic whatso ever.. the goal should be to look fresh .. and possibly when you go out that's when you may need to spice it up slightly..

  7. Revel in the fact that you look young. Seriously, in a few years, you will be scrambling to get that youthful look back, again! lol

At 15 all you really need is a little concealer, if you have any trouble spots that need attention, a touch of powder to knock down shine and a little mascara, lip gloss and a touch of bronzer or a soft rosy blush if you need colour in your cheeks. When you apply your blush or bronzer, sweep a little across your eyelids, for a soft, natural look.

Don't forget a good, high SPF non comedogenic sunblock to protect that beautiful, young skin of yours.

  8. Im an old fuddy duddy (well 38!) with two teenage children and i would say for you... a light eyeshadow just across your eyeball, a brown macara and a bit of lip-gloss! DONT go mad with bronzer and black liquid lines, they're to harsh. Be careful to cleanse every night also!

  9. use a light solid foundation-covergirl.

    fiberwig-sephora

    dior dramatics mascara-christian dior

bath and body works, mentha lip shine.

    eyeliner pen-chanel

eyeshadow, cream.- revlon (it's like eyesahdow, but a lot better!)

    and if you want...

you could use beets and stain your cheeks with it. -marty jean baker
