  1. There isn't a public charter (free) online school in Oklahoma...now they're trying to limit and shut down existing classroom charters, too.  Oh, our lovely system.

To get online high school in Oklahoma, you have to pay for it.  There are a number of different schools, they usually run anywhere from $400-1200 per year.  Most students in Oklahoma homeschool the book route - if you're near Tulsa or OKC there are tons of resources for free and discount books.  There are also computer programs, like Switched On Schoolhouse and BJU, that are similar to taking online school.

If you're anywhere near Tulsa, I can give you some resources that you can find materials for little money; I know they exist in OKC (Mardel carries a lot, but for full price), but I don't know where they are.

I know/have contact with a few hundred homeschool families, many of which have high schoolers, and I don't know one that does an online charter school.  Sorry...

Edit - Melissa, thanks for that link!  I had forgotten about the bookstore list on Cindy's site.

  2. No free online stuff here, but you can buy into one of the national ones like k12. Everyone I know uses the old fashioned textbook style

HSMom, here is some info about book stores in Oklahoma
