Old 1940's photo of King's in downtown Atlanta, GA???

Question

I have an old photograph of my great great grandfather on a street corner in Atlanta. I am trying to find this street corner but the only hint as to where he is is a large old sign that says Kings. It looks like it is hanging at a two story level. I have googled it but i am not having any luck. I am guessing that the picture was taken in about 1945-ish... ANY help is greatly appreciated!

I have a picture of King Hardware store which was on Peachtree Street, about 2 blocks north of 5 points.
