  1. I know what you mean about not being able to find Old Bay Seasoning!  I moved from Baltimore to the Midwest a few years ago and couldn't find Old Bay.  I asked my grocer.  I was looking in the wrong place.  I was looking in the spice aisle.  It was in the seafood section.  Also, the grocer told me that sometimes the store will special order ingredients for customers.

  2. I found 2 recipes for Old Bay Seasoning:  you can see the ingredients (a few of them surprised me!).  Maybe you could make your own Old Bay!  I am surprised you couldnt find it, it's everywhere (did u try Target or Walmart)?

  3. I don't remember what's in Old Bay's, but just use some Lawry's seasoned salt or make your own concoction.

Lemon, bay, dill... whatever you want... be creative.

  4. Use some shrimp bouillon or fish boiullon that works well that is what i use found by the other soup bouillons or in the Latin Food isle next to their bouillons. Good luck. Did try next to your seafood counter?
