Old Broadband package?

I took a service out with Telewest broadband 3 years ago. As you might know this has been taken over by Virgin Media. I have been currently paying £25 a month just for broadband, for that duration. Will they have upgraded me? as £25 a month seems alot for broadband especially when you can get tv,phone and boradband for that price these days!!

  1. If you want to stay with the same provider try telling them you are ringing up to cancel the service and go with sky.  It's amazing how often when a company thinks they are going to lose a customer they improve your deal

  2. Time for a change, like you being an existing Telewest/virgin customer I was paying £25 per month for broadband alone. Moved to sky and got tv, phone and broadband package for £26 per month. I had to get a BT line in (a requirement of Sky)which costs 11.99 per month. so true cost of all three = £47.99 per month v approx £75 I was paying virgin.

    How does that sound ?

  3. You must be on 4 Mb to pay that. 4 Mb is being upgraded to 10 Mb for the same price by the end of the summer.

I was paying that last year and that didn't include TV or phone. When I moved and had to start a new contract. I now pay £42 for TV, BB and phone. £41 now because I use electronic billing.
