Old Camcorder Charger/Battery Question..?

I have an old camcorder. It'll be 20 years on 9/2/08. Now, I am only 14 (15, TOMORROW!!!!! :DDD)

okay sry back to question.

I was just wondering if there is any possibly way to charge the batteries (we have 2) without harming the battery or any vital fluids leaking from the battery..?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If it matters, it is a Hitatchi/Silvania Compact Video.

Try to charge the batteries and see if they will hold a charge, if not you can replace them at  batteries.com.

batteries wear out in 20 years. Buy a new one and a new charger made for the battery.
