Old English furniture polish a hazard?

My dog chewed up the corner of my coffee table, so I got some old english furniter polish (the liquid kind) to cover up the spot. On the bottle is says if consumed call 911. I'm just wondering though if after it dries it would be a hazard still if he licked the table or chewed on it again?
