Question:

Old Peugeot (70s) road bike?

My favorite bike was a Peugeot road bike, I think from the 70s, might have been 80s. It was light and ran really well. Problem is I can't remember the name of it. I tried to find websites with info on Peugeot bikes of that time, but didn't find anything useful so far. I'd like to try to find a similar one again, but that would be easier if I actually knew how it was called. Does anybody know a good website for researching it or the names of some decent peugeot bikes from that time? Thanks in advance.

  1. Peugeots are great bikes and they can last a very long time. Even though modern bikes are lighter, in some ways, modern bikes just don't compare to the classics. Bikes from the 70's and 80's make great roadie bikes today, especially if they were taken care of. I ride a Centurion, from 1976 (no, I'm not that old, it used to belong to my mom). It rides great and no one has tried to steal it.

Bikes from the 80's and back are considered Vintage bicycles. Although I don't know much about Peugeots, per say, there is an active community of people who know a lot about older bikes, including Peugeots. I suggest you repost your question at the following site. One of their experts will be more than happy to answer any question you have about Peugeots:

  2. The top of the line Peugeots from that era are the PX-10 and PRN-10
