Old Phone book from 1963/64?

Question

I need a phone book from the years 1963/64 from Barstow California. Does anyone know how or where ro access one?

You might also try an inner library transfer. That way you could see the book for yourself.  I believe most libraries charge a fee for this service as well and it can take a few weeks to do.  This would be better though if you were looking for more than one person in the same area and time frame.

If you live out of the area, you can look up the street address of the library in Barstow and send them a specific request, ("I'm interested in a man named John Smith . . .") a stamped, self-addressed envelope and a small donation. ($5 is what I usually send.) They will either photocopy the page in question and send it to you, or return your check.

The Barstow library has them in the Reference department.
