Old School Toy?

When I was younger (mid-80's to mid-90's), my grandparents had this ridiculously fun Lite-Brite-esque thing. It was similar in that it had a base underneath which was a light, but it was much more fun because you were able to build structures with this translucent whateveryoucall'ems. It was pretty spacy looking, all tubes and domes, and had a four-quadrant rotating color disk between the base and the light.

Does *anyone* know what it was called?? I want to call it Astrolight or Astrobright or Astrosomething. The box was predominantly black, and had a kid building an Astrowhatever city.
