Old barbie doll with lips opened and hole in back?

Question

does any1 know about this very old vintage barbie? she has a twist and turn waist, blonde hair with a few bangs, and she wears a gown that is green and pink striped on the top, then pink with green and pink frills on the bottom. she has no shoes, and has a little hole in her lips along with a hole on her back that you're supposed to do something with. pleeeasee help! thnx

I do remeber the Barbie that you are talking about but for the life of me I can't think of her name....seems to me she was a Birthday Barbie from the year ???? (sigh) and she either blew bubbles, blew up balloons, or blew out her candles. Sorry can't be much more help but I'll keep looking for the answer for you. :)

I actually have one but she's packed away so  I can't look up the markings on her to do a better search on her for you...if you have the markings...it would help me find out more for you Luv.

Her name is Birthday Party Barbie  & she is from 1998. She could blow up balloons that came in the box. She is not vintage & not very rare or valuable.

She was available as a caucasian doll or an African American doll.

The 1966 simply stands for the year that the body mold was patented. It causes a lot of confusion because people think that a doll with that body was made in 1966. Mattel still uses that body mold.

She is an interesting doll & wasn't on the market for very long due to some negative comments about her.
