  1. you can always get a custom made slipcover. Find the fabric you need, measure out the size of the couch and then find someone who can sew it for you. Or do it yourself.

Good luck. Oh and ikea has some really cheap fabrics.

You can also just go to a craft store like Joann's and have them cut how ever much fabric you need. They have tons of choices.

    Well, hope I helped.

  2. Fabric can be changed on any upholstered piece but the question is....is the piece worth it? Re-upholstering is very expensive. Material will run you around $20 a yard minimum and you will need about 20 yards or more depending on the width of the fabric as well as the pattern repeat. I suggest looking on e-bay for slip covers. Cheaper than Surefit. craigslist has some very nice used furniture that is reasonably priced.

  3. Go to yellowbook.com  and in the business search box type in "upholstery".   This should bring up some businesses you could contact to give you a quote.

Having a sofa re-upholstered runs between $1000 to $2000 depending on what you pick for the new upholstery.

  4. You can have it re-upholstered.  I would look in your local yellow pages and get a few appraisals for your couch.  Let me tell you though, It gets really expensive.  Depending on what you want it can be more costly than buying a brand new couch.
