I've recently tried to start my craftsman 32 cc line trimmer. I cleaned the carb and all the fuel lines because it was not used in a while and dried oil accumulated in the gas lines. I put in fresh gas and oil mix, but it wont start. I statred playing with the choke and it turned on for about 10 secs and then turned off. I forgot how the chock settings should be before starting the engine and the setting after its running. any one know?

  1. Closed to start, half open for a few seconds than fully open.  You may end up rebuilding the carburetor to get to start and run right.  It is an easy job and the rebuild kit is only about $15.  Also there is a filter in the gas tank on the end of the supply line.  It should be cleaned or replaced.
