Old fashion ice cream parlor in southern California? (preferably: OC)?

i remember when i was younger, like 10+ years ago

my mom used to take me to this ice cream parlor? old fashion american place, it has like an arcade on the side

my mom used to take me on my birthday , it will have like a big stainless steel bowl of ice cream (the birthday special),

the people from the store will come out with the big giant bowl, other store ppl will carry some kinda instrument (drums, bells, ...etc) and sing happy birthday and stuff......

i've only been there for ice cream but i think it has burgers and stuff too..

i think the one i used to go is not there anymore,

any one know where else i can find one of these kinda places,

i really kinda miss the noisyness, and the atmosphere.

hopefully there is one in the OC area, but .. if not LA is ok too..

The ice cream here is "out of this world!!".  You will love going here for sure.  They make up some mean deserts to!!  Everything is good here!!

I came across this place last year on a trip.  Well worth going to!!

You have to be talking abour Farrell's Ice Cream!  I remember reading something about them within the last couple years, but I don't think there is one in So Cal anymore but will edit this if I find out more.
