With silver in there hair.

Gold in there teeth.

Stones in there kidneys.

Led in there feet.

Gas in there stomach

I suppose you wanted to make a joke, I don't know if it came through. But know that there are still cultures, where old people are respected, not thrown to the trash as in some Western countries.

I have great respect for the peoples of the world who cherish their elderly folk.

They have so much to give back to the world

the wisdom of their life's experiences

the old stories of yesteryear that will die with their generation

people should take time to listen and learn from them

before it's too late to learn anything from them whatsoever

learn to cherish and respect them

no-one should forget that they too will be old one day

and most of them can spell without a 'spell check' or a PC,...... more than some on here eventhough they have access to both. @ they can add and subtract without using their fingers or writing it down, now thats got to be worth something.........and what about their manners?, we'd need a whole page to discuss where the young have forgotten what value there is in that, huh?
