Old for NEW?

It seems to me that general public holds attitude that every new thing that comes on the market has to be better than the "old" thing, like dvd players are more useful than vcr players,..I find this not to be true. Also with some other new things on market, I believe they are not better/more useful than the older things. Any one else agrees with this?

  1. Yes you are right.. our technology nowadays is enough for our needs. But everything is business, like VCRs, they are easy to use, no need to buy computers to record. People keep on inventing to prove they are genius?.. NO! they do it to WoW! consumers/customers to buy their products and create employments to many, eventually we will pay taxes and the government will earn revenue..now that includes those fancy DVD's, Blue Ray Disk, IpoDs etc.. So, there was the atomic bomb enough to melt this earth, now why would Bush keep on pushing those wars. inventing weapons.. because its business, in one way or another it may help our economy... Windows XP should be OK but microsoft's keep on luring us to Vista..see?.. I don't like to read new manuals everytime new products comes in the market.. everybody is getting older.. and its a waste of money, but we have to waste one in order to earn two..I'm working in an electronic manufacturing firm, if no hi-tech inventions from time to time, I'll get laid-off, so I pretend to convince my friends that this one is better than the old models even though I don't know how to operate those gadgets except my cellphone..
