Old hard drive?

i have a hard drive from my old computer with all my music and photos on it, is there anyway i can plug it up to my laptop to retrieve my stuff?

    you plug hard drive into the case, then it plugs into usb slot on laptop or computer (turns it into an external drive)

You cannot directly plug the HDD into your laptop because the HDD's for both PC and LT are different.  Even if they are both LT's the LT is only capable of supporting one HDD, not two.  Plug the original HDD into another computer (PC) and set the info from there.  Or switch the HDD in your laptop (if they are both from a laptop) and save the info to a external hard rive or an equivalent.

  4. yeah just buy a hard drive caddy, you'll need to knwo the type e.g. SATA
