Old ipod on new computer?

ok so ive got an ipod nano that ive had for a few years but the computer that i was using with it crashed. so on my new computer ive downloaded itunes and have all the music i want on my ipod on itunes. so can i plug my old ipod into my computer? and will it just loose all of the music on it now and take in the new music on itunes???

  1. you should only use 1 computer with your ipod

    why not get a new one?


  2. if u have it on manuall syn then it wont erase the current songs but if u dont have it on manuall syn then it will erase all of ur songs

  4. iTunes should ask you if you want to erase all the songs and sync it with new ones. it won't erase the songs automatically unless you have iTunes setup that way.
