  1. No they didn't.  That's some nostalgic bullshiit and you know it.  Human nature has always been the same.  Sorry.

  2. Communism is Raining in. America has Currently became so Greedy AND Conflictive we are siding in with Many communist nations in terms of Finances. Sad to say if this comes to a Peak we will have another World War in 50-65 yrs.

  3. Which Old Leaders are you refering too?  Let's not forget quite a few of those Old Leaders maintained the rich of their nobility and could not have given two cents worth to the rest of the people (the majority I might add)

  4. Not quite grasshopper.  You must go back and study your history again.  SSDD

  5. Greed, betrayal, liberals...

  6. you know what I think happened? I think the leaders got greedy and lost....lost by being only concerned for themselves or their families only, and not the rest of the world or the earth.....I'm pretty sure its called capitialism

  7. i agree money. they just dont care. once up on the hill they dont care to look down anymore.

  8. One of the things that you will learn if you look back through history is that people are people.  People, including leaders, don't necessarily change.

While it is important for leaders to advocate very strongly for their constituents, it is not and ought not to be a leader's responsibility to take care of anyone else.  Our political leaders are meant to be an extension of our own belief systems, thus we vote for people who closely mirror our own beliefs.  People must first take ownership for themselves and then begin to look for and support leadership that mirror their own values.  It is very important to understand that people need to have accountability for themselves and not push accountability on anyone else, including elected officials.

If you feel frustrated and feel that our current leaders have a lack of compassion and/or decorum, simply don't support candidates who don't reflect those ideals.

    Good luck!

  9. MONEY!!!!!

  10. money happened

  11. money made all the difference and not for the better.

  12. Don't kid yourself.

How far back do you want to go?

George Washington was a slave owner and was primarily interested in what was to the advantage of himself and his own class.

Thomas Jefferson perhaps comes closer to your ideal - he and Adams I believe were the primary force behind some of the more enlightened parts of the Constitution (most of which have fallen by the wayside in the last 100 years...)

In this century I would say that most of the presidents have been manipulative, have lied to the people, and have been mainly interested in pursuing the advantage of their friends and families and the social class to which they belonged.

JFK is a possible exception - and he was killed (it has been said that he was trying to take back monetary control from the Federal Reserve - which is actually a privately-owned bank, and that he "thought that he was in charge") and so he had to be eliminated.

  13. What happened... what happened is called capitalism throughout history eventually breeding greed.

The days of the great FDR's are over. Why? Because of the New World Order through globalization. What is globalization really.. what is it in its core. It is the global spread of capitalism. So what is that exactly.... what does that mean... that means that the top .0001 of the wealthiest 1% will eventually own the entire world... own and control.

What does that have to do with leaders? Everything when these wealthiest of the wealthy can, in one day, completely topple a country's economy. The leaders know this and that is why they are at their mercy.
