Old mascara? can i re-use?

its my moms old mascara and she hasn't used it for years and now there's like this white white stuff growing in it ( most likely bacteria) but there's none on the brush.. can i wash it with water or something and use it as a brow brush or to separate my lashes?

No don't use it!

Mascara should be changed every 3-6 months.  Using your mum's old one could give you a infection in your eye.

no!! i wouldnt risk it if i were u, u might end up with a eye infection! mascaras expire in about 3 months so try buying a new one instead!

Yes you could probably wash the brush anduse it as a brow brush or to seperate lashes....apparently no one else can READ but w/e. There's your answer.

No, please throw the mascara away. Mascaras should be thrown out 3 to 4 months after it is first used as bacteria can easily grow on the bristles (you do not want to take a chance with your eyes, they are very important)! Also, if kept for too long the mascara will be very dry or clumpy. Mascara is not very expensive so it shouldn't be hard to get a new one! I like Maybelline mascaras. :)

Just go out and buy some new mascara,

because chances are, you use that,

you'll get an eye infection,

and they certainly aren't fun to have!

thorw that away my cuzsin friend tryed that it didnt trun out to well heae buy this kind its rally good my mom buys me this kind and what thoes other pepole say dont listin i keep mine for a while and my eyes r fine but hears the link

i wouldn't if i were you.

your not supposed to use other people's eye make up as it could transfer eye infections and believe me they aren't nice.

if you live in the u.k go to boots or something because they sell mascara there for like £2.

but if that stats running out, put a little water in it and it will last longer.
