  1. It all depends on who wants to pay what for it. Try an antique dealer or check eBay to maybe see if you can get an idea there.

  2. Hi,

I also have one of these units, model #101.22940. I don't think your unit is as old as you think it may be. My machine was actually built by  Covel Manufacturing, that was bought out by Atlas Tool Corp. in 1970. That was in the same time frame or era that Atlas was also building metal lathes for Sears Craftsman. Mine unit is identical to The Craftsman, which would make it pre-1970 and if your machine is badged "Craftsman" Iwould say yours is after that, based on my research. Some of the parts are still available a Sears for this machine. The dirt and grime from oil used in cutting metal, coupled with that is not your every day tool, would lead a person to think it is really old. I purchased mine for $10.00 at a garage sale, and have found others on the internet that they have purchased them for the same amount, so it depends on finding the right person that would have the need for it. I woud be interested in purchasing it, and also would like to see some photos, that you can email me at jimliechty@yahoo.com

What I have done in the past, is that i get a good shipping rate from UPS, I have sent pre-paid mailing labels for shipping, so the seller don't need to mess with that end, and the weight should not be real bad, if it was shipped without the motor and any type of stand. Please send me some photos, and what you would like for it.

                                                        Thanks so much,  Jim
