If he was truely worried about ommissions he would hav a green house correct?

or is he just lying to you laughing about all the money he took from you?

  1. Yeah, I believe he's laughing his way to the bank.  I think if he's so worried about our environment he would convert his home to a green home and encourage everyone in DC to do the same.


  2. First of all, the GOPs who keep spreading this rumor is relying on peolpe being too gullible to actually check up on things. The "so much energy" that you are talking about is not actual energy use, but the cost of energy. Since Al Gore buys only green energy (which costs more), using the cost of energy is a misleading and inaccurate metric.

    Second, it isn't just a house. It is also a place of business, with an office and employees. Comparing it to someone's home is misleading and inaccurate.

    Third, it is a large house. Comparing it to an average house is misleading and inaccurate.

    Fourth, the GOPsters generated this rumor shortly after Al Gore bought the building and before numerous features that make the house greener. He has replaced the old windows, insulated the house, installed solar hot water heaters and solar panels. I bet if you looked at the data today, you would find it a great example of a green house.
