Good question sir.  Sanchez was one of the best fighters I've ever had the pleasure to watch.  He was a very good boxer, had good power, an iron chin and steel resolve.  He beat some of the best competition in his career like Danny Lopez, Wilfredo Gomez, and Azumah Nelson among others.finishing with a career record of 44-1-1.  As far as the new school fighters, Manny Pacquiao is a credit to the boxing game and always comes to fight with great effort and no doubt is a fan favorite.  This would be a fierce fight with both men landing some very hard punches.  Sanchez would take control after about the 10th round and begin to shake Manny with hard punches.  To his credit, Pac Man would not give up and fight back valiantly.  At the end of a good fight, Sanchez's hand in raised in victory by 15 round decision.

This is a fantastic question and one that anyone that really knows boxing shouldn't have a hard time coming up with the correct opinion about this DREAM fight.

Salvador would quite literally take the Pac Man to school. Manny's style compared to the style of Sanchez is like comparing a wild amateur fighter to a skilled pro. Manny rushes in often times with his hands down. When Manny gets hit with a clean shot he often raises his hands to show he can take it, this is where a in his prime Sanchez would take him to school. A straight shot right down the middle always lands faster than a wide looping shot. Shots missed use more energy than a shot landed. A sustained body attack wears down your opponent. Sanchez would land the straighter shots. Sanchez would make Manny miss more and Sanchez would work the body as long as the fight would last.

Sanchez would bust up a very aggressive Pacquiao over a period of less than nine rounds. Pacquiao is good but Sanchez was great.
