can anyone help find out what year and model my Singer sewing machine is? its serial number is 2085370 it says something about catalog B.T. 7

amperes .6

volts 100-110

cycles (word kinda distorted) 60 & D.C.

if you could find anything at all like the model or year or anything that would lead to a good estimate on price :) it would be much appreciated. (not selling just want to know value and a little more about it)

  1. contact singer ,there still in business,

  2. Can't find anything from the serial number.  However, you can check the pictures of some of the models at http://www.ismacs.net/singer/models.html... to see if you find a match.

If you're interested in just finding a value, then here's a rough guide (all values vary greatly by condition!)  If the model has a "bed" that folds down on the left side of the machine, then it might be a model 221.  Prices can go between $150 to $450.  Even higher if it's a model 222 or a "crinkle" finish (flattish grey finish).  Otherwise, if it's an old "black" Singer, prices range from $25.00 to about $150 or so (model in really good shape).  If you've got a very uncommon model, value could be a little bit higher, but that will depend on finding a matching buyer.  If you can identify your model from the pictures (tip:  Look at location of the take up lever, the light, and the tension k**b when matching models), I can give you a better estimate.

  3. You may be able to find it here:
