Old t.v. picture tube shot. Where can I find a decent yet reasonably priced t.v?

I really am on a tight budget and don't need a plasma or lcd. Had an old Panasonic 27" that was fine until today. Would love to find something for under $250... is this even possible??? Help!!

Try  ' factorydirect.ca ', they have some good refurbs in crt,s (27"or higher) as well as lcd's. For a little more than $250 you might find a half decent lcd. Stock changes constantly.

Who says that the tube is " shot "  ?    Well meaning friends will usually tell you that the tube is shot when they don't know any better !! Get a professional opinion if you have not already done so !!!
