Question:

Old television doesn't work?

Okay, I'll admit that I'm a little dumb for not getting fixed after a year. Basically, this started last summer when it would turn itself off after I turned it on. Before that, it used to do that constantly and I had to keep re-plugging it in. I sent the TV when it died for the first time, this would be the 2nd time. Is there an easy solution to this or is my TV just past its prime?

  2. Don't listen to them, keep your faitful mitsi!!! they were the bomb! Chances are it's the same fault as before, so use that price as a guide.

  3. get a second hand plasma, then you won't need to complain and can update to freeview!

  4. dude, a new basic tv probably costs as much as repairs.

  5. You still have a good old working TV as the problem is in the electrical not on the electronics.

Try by- passing the relay of the power switch. Should be easy to see as its near the entry point of the power cord.

You will however be defeating the function of the remote on- off and timer on- off
