Old typewriter ribbon spools. where to buy them in edmonton?

hi i have this old remington quiet riter and my ink ribbon is about 30-40 years old, probably as old as the typewriter its self. but i just got this old typewriter and i need to know if there is somewhere in edmonton where i could buy a replacement spool. Because me and my father have this bet going and he thinks that i won't be able to write all of my school essays on this thing. but he's wrong. so yeah please let me know. i still have 2 months till school starts so im not in a big rush.

I think your best bet would be ebay. That's going to be a hard to find part, as typewriters are nearly obsolete these days. Ebay often carries things like this, that you can longer find in stores. Otherwise my other thought would be to see if an office supply store could special order them.
