I had the same question to a 3ltr bottle I have (A.P. Nr. H 017901) and I was told that is was filled in 1979 so I would venture to say yours was filled in 1987. It is manufactured in Rudesheim am Rhein, Germany. I would not venture to guess a value but don't think you have a gold mine there. As far as drinkability, bring it over and lets see. Hopefully if it is a corked bottle it is still sealed
